How to know if I passed ProUni

It is a great opportunity for low-income people to attend a private university without getting into debt. The Prouni program offers full and partial scholarships to those who are unable to pay for university in full. Prouni (University Program for All) is an initiative of the Ministry of Education, created in 2004 by the Federal Government.

Furthermore, it was created to offer full or partial scholarships (50%) at private universities, for low-income people.

Requirements Which are they? People who have taken the Enem in the previous year, who scored above 450 in the four areas required in the test, and who have not completed the essay can participate in Prouni.

Prove Income In order to compete for a full Prouni scholarship, the candidate must demonstrate gross monthly family income of up to one and a half salaries per person. To compete for partial scholarships (50%), the candidate must prove family income of up to 3 salaries per person.

Rules The candidate must also meet one of the following criteria: have completed high school in a public school, have completed high school in a private school receiving a full scholarship, have completed high school partly in a public school and partly in a private school with a full scholarship , have a disability, be a public school teacher teaching basic education and compete for scholarships in undergraduate courses (in this case there is no income requirement).

Enrollment In Prouni, it must be done directly through the program's website at the link: https://acessounico.mec.gov.br/ The Enem registration number and password are used to access the website and register, during the days that are disclosed in advance for this to be done. After registering on the Prouni website, you must choose the first course option and the modality you wish to compete for.

After choosing the first option, you must choose the second, in the same way as the first. At the end of each day of registration, a partial cut-off score is published, but this does not decide the final result, as course options can be changed up to the last day of registration.

It's free Enrolling in the program is completely free. If you want to participate in the program, but do not have a computer or internet, the candidate must go to a university participating in the program, which must offer free access to those who wish to register.

Quota system Prouni offers some vacancies reserved for self-declared black, brown or indigenous people and also for people with disabilities. The candidate who wishes to apply for this type of vacancy must also meet the other requirements of the program. The percentage of quota vacancies varies in each location, as the percentage of quotas is equal to the percentage of black, mixed race and indigenous people in each state.

Get Results Prouni has two initial calls, one released on July 21st, and another on August 4th. You can access the results through the website, using the Enem registration and password, at educational institutions participating in the program, or at the call center by calling 0800-616161. If the vacancies are not filled in these two calls, the university can still call for more applicants in order to take over these vacancies.

Selected The candidate selected in the Prouni program must attend the institution where he was selected, during the days previously announced for enrollment. The selected candidate must bring the required documents, which are found directly on the Prouni website.

Deadlines The deadline for registrations for the first call is February 14th to 17th, and the second call is February 20th to 24th.

Waiting list If not selected in the first calls, the candidate can still sign up for a waiting list, in order to compete for vacancies that were not previously filled. The candidate must express interest in this list through the Prouni website during the period of March 7th and 8th. The candidate can join the waiting list for the first course option if they are not selected in the first two regular calls and also if they are selected in the second call.

However, it is only valid if you did not get the place because you did not have a class background. For the second course option, you can join the waiting list when previously selected,

However, it is only valid if there is no class formation or when you are not selected because there are no scholarships available in the first course option. The list of candidates participating in the waiting list must be published on March 10th and participants on this list must attend the institution between the 13th and 14th, with the necessary documents to enroll.
